  • Alice - The Screen Crack Problem is Real

I like the Chromebook, but I will NEVER purchase another Samsung Chromebook. In fact, I will not purchase another Samsung product until the company acknowledges that the problem with their screens cracking under normal use is a defect, and not the result of misuse. I purchased my first Chromebook for my daughter last Christmas. In terms of functionality, it was exactly what we expected. Eight months later, the screen developed a crack. I read about this problem on several review sites, and also read that Samsung was not acknowledging that this was a problem with the product. Since I had purchased the Square Trade warranty with the first machine, I went ahead and used that to replace the Chromebook. Less than three weeks later, the second machine developed a crack in the screen. This time I did go through the process with Samsung's customer service and sent the machine to Texas to have it evaluated. As expected, that company (Intelisol) stated that the cracked screen would not be covered under warranty. I want to make it clear that neither machine was subject to any rough handling or extreme conditions. The screen cracks under NORMAL use. Yes, I only paid $250 for the Samsung product, but I bought it under the reasonable expectation that it would function well for at least a year under normal conditions. I will not throw $250 away again. For that matter, I will not throw away the $50 it would cost to replace the screen (a product that is now available on Amazon, by the way). There is no reason to believe that the new screen won't crack just as easily as the first two did.

  • Brandy - only thing that works for me

I have tried many diets I was just starving all day long. Last year I did low carb under a doctor's supervision it included eating very low calories low carb only foods. I took shots once a week and different types weight loss pills as required. Well I lost weight very easily and quickly however within a few months of reaching my goal weight I gained it all back plus more. It seemed like after that my metabolism didn't work anymore I had nearly gave up all hope! One day I was looking through a magazine and seen a ad for aliased. It looked like it was worth a try found it here on Amazon and I'm so glad I did! First of all I don't feel hungry at all I did just the shakes for 10 days. I lost around 10 pounds almost immediately. I didn't exactly keep up with how long it took to lose but I know I lost at least 20 pounds so far I was 220 now I'm at 196.4 and that's a little over a month is my guess. If you want something that works and you don't want to starve just try it you won't regret it. I know some people don't like the taste I love it. In every shake I use low fat milk the almased, flax seed oil and vanilla all I can say is yummy!!!

  • anon - a very low key exfoliator, not to replace a clenser for acne prone skin

I purchased this because I read good reviews on other sites about it's ability to fade acne redness and dark marks due to it's BHA/AHA ingredients. In terms of fading my acne scars I can't really tell a significant difference after 2 weeks of using it three times a week. I was expecting a more intense experience, it is actually a very gentle clenser, has a very fine "grit" when it comes to the scrub aspect and is on the creamier side. I have oil-dry combination, acne prone skin. I usually have at least one break out on my face so I was really hoping this would do more to combat that. Since using it i've noticed my skin is softer, but if I don't follow up with a acne treatment gel I break out more then usual the next day. I followed up with a basic acne moisturizer and SPF but it still makes my cheeks dry and other areas like my nose more oily then normal. Perhaps if you used a Murad serum or moisturizer it would work better? Either way, if you have oily skin I would stick to a drugstore exfoliator or Dermalogica and save yourself the high pricetag of this Exfoliator/Cleanser. On the plus side though, the bottle is huge and would definitely last the average person several months of use!

  • K. W. Allen - Good and Sturdy but Complicated Setup...

SURE! It's a good, sturdy, well manufactured mount. After having it up, that TV ain't goin nowhere. However, if you are a first time mount buyer like I was, BE prepared for getting the mount up and ready for use. You're gonna need proper drill bits, you're gonna need either a stud finder (behind your walls) or know where the studs are. Being that is the only way to actually put it up safely, otherwise once you put the TV on it, it will just rip right out of your wall and fall on the floor. So, if this isn't your first time with mounting a TV and you know what you're doing, it's great. If you've never mounted a TV before just be ready for some handywork and possible that your mount not even able to go where you want it. Just be aware the frame has to be drilled directly to a stud in your wall.

  • JOSE FERNANDEZ GRANDIZO P - Buyer beware!!!! Your accountant's data from Sage Quantum will not transfer you your new Sage software!!!

After having our accountant handle our books in her Sage 50 Quantum Accountant's SW, we decided it was time for us to do the accounting in house. We purchased Sage 50 Premium 14, and to our surprise, after the fact, we discovered the data in our accountant's Sage Quantum cannot be transferred to our new Premium version! This seem to defy logic. The natural path for a small company is to start with their books been done by the accountant (with their hi-power Quantum version) and then move on to company in-house processing with a right-sized Premium version. Apparently, not with Sage. They would not let you do it.
