The Federal Trade Commission filed suit against the company that makes this product, claiming they falsely claimed benefits and presented a false medical authority to endorse it. The company settled for 1.5 million dollars. This information comes from an email directly from the FTC (on October 5, 2016) with the subject heading, "Marketers of Joint Pain Supplement Agree to Settle FTC Charges of Deceptive Advertising, Endorsements." I have not tried the product, but I just thought you would like to know if you are considering buying it. I gave it a three stars because I am so amused and impressed at the audacity to produce something and lie about it so severely that the FTC actually got involved.

When I bought this toy, I was looking forward to placing my minority-action figure through the metal detector, and then running the little script I prepared: "Excuse me sir, but you have been 'randomnly' selected for additional scans. Please let us take a sample from your shoe while the computer analyzes findings for any radioactive or biohazardous material".

Unfortunately I had hoped it would work for my 15 year old son, but it really didn't work at all. In fact, I believe it made it worse. After using the product for about 3 weeks or so, the acne just wasn't improving. I heard about the purging period but there just seemed to be no end in sight for him. We followed the instructions to the tee. Now it has been at least two weeks since he stopped using it and his acne is just slightly improving from the huge amount he got from using this product. As we approach summer I am hoping the sun will dry some of it up. So we continue our search for a better product, for him anyways.

I had such fun reading this book. My oldest son turned me into a dinosaur nerd when he was around 5 years old (he carried plastic dinosaurs with him wherever we went), so I loved the adventure and wonder of discovering new dinosaur breeds and fossils in this novel.
