Ok, i want to write this review about my fox acoustics box, the box looks great it sounds awesome,, before i bought this box i saw good reviews,, just a few bad ones, so i decided to buy one,, and let me tell you something guys,, this box does sound really good but the problem is that it doesn't like big bass👎🏼 6 months of use and it is cracked,, sounds bad i send an email to fox acoustics and Joe, reply back by saying that he was on the road, and that was a week ago and haven't heard from him again, so if you guys like big bass, i don't recomend this product, i have 2 sundown sa 12 and unfortunately the box is cracked.
I'm writing this primarily to help anyone out who can't get MEP 2015 installed. (Updated Dec 1, 2014 throughout and note at the bottom.) Jump to Final Thoughts if TLTR. (And see Comment from Magix.)
If you are accustomed to using the PC version QuickBooks Pro please do NOT purchase the Mac version thinking that you are going to receive a similar product. I switched my business to Mac computers in January and proceeded to have an absolute nightmare of an experience. The short version if that the Mac version of QuickBooks was unable to support my company's somewhat larger sized file (135,000 K). I ended up switching my company back to PC's, and keeping the Mac's for personal use. I absolutely LOVE my iMac and MacBook Pro, but simply found the Mac version of QuickBooks highly inadequate for business use----so I use it for keeping track of personal finances only. One major problem that I encountered with the Mac version is that it did not compute the sales tax correctly for some transactions. This resulted in me having to file three months worth of ammended sales tax returns with the state. I also had problems with maintaining connection with the server----I used Quickbooks in the multi-user mode. All of a sudden the program would just quit and I would have to have it re-boot all the way from the beginning. This was apparently due to my file size. Another problem I encountered was when I switched from the PC version of QuickBooks Pro 2008 to the Mac version of QuickBooks 2011, and then back to PC to QuickBooks Pro 2011 my file size increased tremendously. It went from 135,000 K to around 300,000 K. Intuit had to analyze and restore my data in order to bring the file back down to its original size. Also, please note that the Mac version does not offer the same variety of reports and features as QuickBooks Pro. For instance, you cannot run a sales tax revenue report----doesn't exist. Also, it does not support payroll services in case you need that. (I don't use them, so that was not a concern for me.) If you are considering purchasing QuickBooks for Mac, my advice is to call Intuit and thoroughly, and I mean thoroughly, research the product's features and capacity to meet your needs. Be sure you speak with a product specialist knowledgeable in the Mac version----Intuit has a whole separate Mac customer service center and tech support department. I cannot stress enough that the Mac version of QuickBooks is very different and highly inferior to the PC version of QuickBooks Pro. I've been using QuickBooks and QuickBooks Pro since 1997 and the 2011 Mac version is by far the absolute worst product of all of those that I have used. Please save yourself from repeating the stressful, upsetting, frustrating, not to mention time consuming and expensive, experience that I endured earlier this year. I feel so passionate about this issue, that when the review box popped up I just had to respond immediately---and I rarely, if ever summit reviews. The one nice thing that I can say is that I ended up working with some very nice Intuit technical support people----I got to know a couple of them pretty well after weeks and weeks of talking with them on an almost daily basis. Particularly, Mark at the tech support center in the Phillipines---he was was great! I really hope that Intuit gets around to investing the time and money into creating an improved Mac version of QuickBooks that could actually be used in place of the PC version. (Otherwise, the only other option would be to run the PC version on a Mac using additional software----I opted not to try this approach because I was already stuck with the Mac software.)
