I have a Dell 8500, Windows 8, i7 processor and 16 gb of ram. (This is pretty current as far as technology is concerned.) Roxio NXT will work and then not work. Videowave will shut down at random times. Finally, I was able to finish one production (part of which included extracting audio from a video on my camera and adding it to the final product). Then I went to burn the DVD but MyDvd would not encode the production. I could find no help at the Roxio website but found a blog on the internet speaking to the problem and it said that if you reboot the computer, and then open MyDvd, Roxio will burn the DVD. Voila, it worked by rebooting. Tonight when I went to do a new production, I tried extracting audio from another one of my videos from my camera. Every time I tried to extract audio ... something that worked 5 days ago ... Vidoewave closed. Rebooting did not solve this problem, so back to the internet to see if anyone else has had this problem and found a work around. I will now look for a more reliable program to replace this buggy product.
I bought this for my 3 year old son. I hoped it would help teach him numbers and start giving him a concept of the calendar year. In retrospect, I think he is probably too young. It is frustrating for him to only be allowed to pop one bubble and maybe 1/10 bubbles don’t have a good “pop!” However I could see this being a great gift for elementary aged children. It arrived nicely packaged and in great condition. The poster itself was sturdier than I was expecting. Once my son gets older I will probably buy this again, but not for another few years. Disclosure: I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
I use them as my casual workout shoe and another pair as just regular sneakers to wear whenever. They're light, comfortable, airy, adequately cushioned without being cumbersome. Just excellent. And they're fashionable and look great too. I don't use these for long distance runs but I suspect they would be fine. I tried the Nike Free 5.0 and I have to say these fit much better and are more comfortable. I'm a 9.5 men's and it fits perfectly. I do have a somewhat higher arch than most and I find the arch support perfect, but this shoe is probably not good for you if you have flat feet.
Six months ago, I would have given this item a very good review. But tonight the lid on this item shattered into very small fragments and rendered a Brunswick stew with about $30 worth on ingredients, and a lot of my wife's prep time, inedible.
Dr. Theodosakis has done a terrific job with this book. It's extremely easy to read, and provides useful recommendations that are simple to follow. I've already recommended it to friends and family that have arthritis.
