  • pristine - The 571B is the real deal

This is the only one used on official world tournaments and don't settle for less. Some will try to sell you a 569, 570 or 571A but they are cheap versions of the real deal which is the 571B. At home I still have an old 134 series A (the cast iron one with the screw to set the width) which I use for special occasions, but when I travel the 571B is in my carry-on. The 200 and 300's are really more for people with a tomato background.

  • Christopher Williams - Great for Occasional Hot Water

I have two of the CR-240A versions of this unit, and the only thing I can say is, buy this if you like intermittent hot water.

  • Brian Roy - Sideline approved. Worked great...

Got to use these this weekend watching a soccer game in a consistent, cold rain. Jacket worked great, and even while sitting down did not bleed through at all. Was able to wear over my sweatshirt... They are not insulated (what I wanted) so should also work in warmer weather. Paired with the black Precip pants kept me 100% dry. Very good hood design that folds under collar....didn't use an umbrella. Again, it was about 48 degrees and windy so need sweatshirts under for insulation. I bought specifically to have in car to watch kids play sports, and they worked and fit perfectly, and expect same in warmer weather too. 6"6", 250#, and both jacket and pants in XXL fit great, with or without sweats under... Jacket is nice and light as a windstopper too. Very happy with first experiences.

I checked out this product in the store before buying it so I knew i was a Medium. Product is the same as sold as retailers. It is also a little cheaper depending on the store.

  • buen chapin - So-So movie, but bloody brilliant Special FX

Alas, this is just the same apocalyptic/doomsday scenario as "The Day after Tomorrow", but recycled. Too bad, that the goddamn politicians and the millionaires are the "chosen" people to preserve the continuation of the human race. Go figure! The acting is quite good, but many scenes are cheesy, cloying and ridiculous. I hate it, when a serious plot is mixed up or alternates with black humor, out-of-the-context romantic interludes and literally dozens of narrow escape situations. There are so many of these scenes, that it becomes truly annoying and too much to bear. I'd say that, many of the latest American movies are filled with that sort of junk. However, Mr. Emmerich has outdone himself in regards to the Special FX and Computarized animations. These alone, make the movie worth seeing!! The Special effects are awesome and fascinating! The best I've seen in a looooong time. I'm looking forward to watching the movie again as a rental, but purchasing it, well,....I don't know as yet. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, when it arrives at Blockbusters. Five stars for the Special FX and only two stars for the movie!
