  • Lifesavr - A standard for backing up your computer that seems to have lost its way. I doubt that the average computer user needs it at all

I am not sure what is going on with Acronis. Surely things have gotten complicated in the computer world around the different types of partitions and such when cloning and backing up. The interface of the 2015 I do like much better than the older versions of this software. But there are aspects of this software that are difficult if not impossible for me to use or even understand how they work. I guess I would want the software wizard to figure it all out but honestly it doesn't. It works well with just basic backup and restore, at least for me. But when I had backed up an image of a hard drive and try to move it to somewhere else, no matter how much I tried I couldn't get Acronis to do it. It always started and then came up with a reason why it wouldn't work. The reason never made any sense even with the help file. Now, that is what this software is for, to do “none” basic restores and backups that you’re Windows Backup may not be able to accomplish. It is there to save your but in an emergency, and it just didn’t do that for me, even though I spent hours trying. Now since it couldn't do that, I really wonder about the worth of this software. Also Acronis has a very difficult activation process which I find truly a pain in the... I had upgraded from 2014, to 2015, so now every time I need to install the newer version I have to input my older activation code along with the newer one. Why? This is totally stupid and a pain. They are always asking you to upgrade, so I wanted to upgrade from just one license to 3. So I did this, but with the information they sent me I have been unable to activate any of the 3 supposed license I have purchased. Out of frustration I bought a boxed version from Amazon, and of course worked that worked but I had to wait for its delivery. So basically you have a well-known software company that I feel use to be the standard for backups, but because of changes in the computer world, it just hasn't been able to keep up, especially now that you get a free version of back on Windows, that seems to work for basic backing, if that is all you needed. So for me this software company is truly in trouble. If it doesn't clean up its act, then for the home geek, there doesn't seem to be any real reason to purchase it anymore, which is rather sad.

  • Amazon Customer - Great shoes except for one big problem

Great shoes except for one big problem: one of the shoes has decided to omit two of the colors (red and purple) all together. Not much fun when you're showing off your colorful shoes and one of them goes blank. After re-charging, the problem persists.

  • E. Roy - PC Tools Registry

A good utility for cleaning up after using so many applications that say they are good products, but leave behind a lot of junk in the registry, files, etc. that you might not realize are there. Run it occasionally to do house cleaning....

  • Amazon Customer - Predicted Me!!!

When my mom first got pregnant with me she was only a few weeks pregnant with me so she asked if I was going to be a girl or a boy and it said girl (I'm a girl) and then asked when I going to be born it said February 28,2003 I was born February 27,2003 and my nana went to the bathroom and told my parents to ask what my grandpa would name his son and my nana was the only one who knew because he had died a really long time ago it said Axel and that was the name! And when we were moving a couple years ago my dad found it in the attic and my cousin was going to bring in the house and put in a box and my mom screamed no and said never to bring those things in the house

  • James R. - My new hair growth!

Nice product. My wife and I have been taking it to increase the silica in our bodies. We have been told most everyone is lacking in this. My wife says since I have started taking it my balding spot on the back of my head is filling in. She is so excited! I don't care but since she loves it I will keep it up. Also my wife has noticed her knees not hurting as much. Look it up, this stuff is suppose to do a lot for your health. Regards, James

  • Alexandra F. - Beware this product may cause cystic acne!

I tried this product out for about a month or two after reading the positive reviews here. However, after a week or two of use I noticed my chin was beginning to break out. I have had the occasional break out just like every other person, but I do not have problem skin. I did not understand what was going on with my skin and it got so bad that I had to visit a dermatologist. I was prescribed medication for the cystic acne ravaging my chin, but it did not work. I seriously began to lose hope that it would ever go away. Luckily, I ran out of CLA pills that week and noticed my skin to clear up little by little. I researched CLA and cystic acne and found that other people had or were having the same reactions I did to taking the pill. I am so happy that I was able to figure out the cause. Again, I do not think this will happen to everyone taking the pill, but it definitely affected me my skin.
