I teach for a major University with more than 40,000 students at our schools. I get free IT of the highest caliper. We all get free antivirus. My IT team suggested I plunk down the small cost for Norton and forgo the free system offered by the school. That was 3 years ago, and each year I renew my subscription to Norton. Seriously, if you have a PC, THIS is real protection, real support and peace of mind.
Okay, here's a two day's in use snapshot of my take on things so far. Let me first begin by saying that I agonized over the decision to 1) buy this particular laptop, and 2) give a Chromebook a shot. I knew it was going to be a leap of faith abandoning my Microsoft heritage, and hopefully this helps some of you make an educated decision. Unlike many other reviews, I am a very capable user, and this was for me, not my daughter/mother/father. I still have my uber powerful desktop, as well as my wife's Acer budget laptop (full size) for comparison.
I used this mounting hardware on my Honda Recon to mount a Warn winch to the frame. The plate is heavy duty and fit the ATV without any modification.
I like this program because it does everything my other programs used to do, but they were not compatible with Windows 8.1
I have used Kaspersky for many years now and it does a wonderful job of keeping my computer clean. I get the 3 user version and put it on my computer, my daughter's and my granddaughter's laptop. Really works like a charm and much less cumbersome than some of the other anti virus programs.
